Qatar condemns attack on LNG carrier Al Mayeda in Arabian Gulf
Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced an attack on the “Al Mayeda” liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, owned by Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited (Nakilat), while it was sailing in the Arabian Gulf, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on November 1, 2026.

Pakistan drives EV, IT pitch to Qatar
Pakistan, Qatar reviewed progress on bilateral economic ties at the second meeting of their Joint Task Force (JTF) on Trade and Investment in Doha, where Islamabad pressed Doha to help fast-track the Pakistan-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Free Trade Agreement, sought relief on curbs on bone-in meat exports, and invited Qatari investment in agriculture, automobiles, IT, maritime and infrastructure.

Pakistan set to receive second Qatari LNG cargo in September
Pakistan has negotiated with Iran for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for a Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo, with the shipment expected to arrive at the country's import facility on September 22, according to Bloomberg.
