PTC targets Ufone Telenor network merger completion next year
Pakistan’s largest integrated telecom group expects to finish merging the Ufone and Telenor networks next year, with over 40% of the work due by end-2026. Meanwhile, 5G services are now live in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other large cities.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PSX:PTC) has received regulatory clearance from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), for the consolidation and transfer of PTA licenses, as well as the amalgamation of Telenor Pakistan (Private) Limited into Pak Telecom Mobile Limited, both wholly owned subsidiaries of PTCL.
