Stock Exchange to increase number of companies eligible for Margin Trading

According to a release by National Clearing Company of Pakistan Ltd., it has been proposed that Stock Exchange is to increase the list of Eligible Companies for Margin Trading. The Exchange

Following is the list of Drafts for Proposed Amendments in the NCCPL Regulations, 2015:

Introduction of Category B of the Margin Eligible Securities
Changes in the Risk Management regime of Deliverable Future Contract and introduction of Category B for selection of Securities eligible for trading in Margin Trading System

According to latest data, about 28 – 30 companies are to be added to the eligibility list on Friday. The Stocks are likely to start on Futures Counter in February.
