SSGC announces gas timings for Ramadan

March 11, 2024 (MLN): Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) has unveiled the gas timings for the Holy month of Ramadan starting from Tuesday, March 12, according to a notice issued by the gas company.

The timing schedule shows that SSGC would be carrying out gas pressure profiling from 09:00am to 03:00pm and then during night times from 10:00pm to 03:00am.

The country is currently facing around 10% depletion annually in its gas reserves which has led to the widening gas demand-supply gap.

Hence, the provision of the commodity must be provided after incorporating all these factors.

Moreover, the timings have been worked out to provide convenience in food preparations for Sehar and Iftaar.

"SSGC wishes a blessed Ramzaan Mubarak to its esteemed customers and would like to assure them of uninterrupted gas supplies for Sehar and Iftaar preparations," the company added.
