Sindh Labour Court disposes off all the complaints against Meta Tech Health Ltd

September 20, 2022 (MLN): The Sindh Labour Court (SLC) disposed of all the 95 complaints against Meta Tech Health Limited and its sponsors, filed by ex-employees that the company has not paid the ‘back benefits' to the employees, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.

In 1999, Metatech expelled 380 workers and these complainants are part of those employees who were expelled but later restored by the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP).

The SLC has ruled that “from the bare reading of the SCP judgment, it is revealed that back benefits were not allowed, nor this could be presumed to have been allowed upon the interpretation of the complainants.”
