Shell Pakistan changes name to Wafi Energy Pakistan

February 26, 2025 (MLN): Shell Pakistan Limited (SHEL) has been renamed Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, with a new security symbol ‘WAFI’ assigned by the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL).

This change will take effect from March 3, 2025, as stated in the notice issued by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

SHEL is a limited liability Company incorporated in Pakistan.

The Company is a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company Limited, United Kingdom which is a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell Plc.

The Company markets petroleum products and compressed natural gas.

It also blends and markets various kinds of lubricating oils.
