Shell Pakistan CEO resigns

October 10, 2024 (MLN): Waqar I. Siddiqui, the Chief Executive Officer of Shell Pakistan Limited (PSX: SHEL), has stepped down from his role as CEO of the company.

"We would like to inform you that Waqar I. Siddiqui, the Chief Executive Officer of Shell Pakistan Limited has announced his intention to step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of the company," Shell said in a stock filing on Thursday.

He will continue as the CEO of the company until his replacement is announced in due course, the statement added.

Waqar joined Shell Pakistan in 2001 and has since held several roles locally and internationally at senior leadership positions. He has been a Director on the Board of the company since 2019.
