SHC restrains TRG from holding AGM

October 25, 2022 (MLN): The Sindh High Court (SHC) has restrained TRG Pakistan Limited (PSX: TRG) from holding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) till further orders, the company filing on the bourse showed today.

"We will inform the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited and other stakeholders as and when the AGM can be held," the notification said.

To note, the company has filed suit before the SHC against various companies/persons for violating the provisions of the Securities Act, 2015, as they had acquired a shareholding in excess of 30% in the company without making a mandatory public offer.
