Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan shortlists names for chief executive officer of the Pakistan Stock Exchange

Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan has shortlisted Richard Morin, for the first time a foreign national to become the chief executive officer of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) after following due process as required under the Securities Exchanges (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2017 (the “Regulations”) and in terms of the Fit and Proper Criteria had shortlisted. Richard Morin for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Board of Directors of PSX unanimously recommended appointment of Mr. Morin for approval of the SECP under the Regulations which was approved by the SECP subject to completion of formalities.
