SBP reserves rise $69.5m in a week

April 03, 2025 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $69.5 million or 0.66% WoW to $10.68 billion during the week ended on March 28, 2025, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $28.7m or 0.18% WoW to $15.58bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $40.8m or 0.83% WoW to $4.9bn.

In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $1.29bn or 13.7%.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen a decrease of $1.03bn or -8.83%.
