SBP issues bank timings during Ramadan

March 22, 2023 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Wednesday announced bank timings to be observed during the Holy month of Ramadan 1444 A.H. These office hours will also be followed by all banks / DFIs / MFBs.

According to a circular issued in this regard, SBP will observe office hours from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday with a prayer/lunch break from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

On Friday, Bank will observe timings from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm without break.

Banks and MFBs are further advised to observe the following business/banking hours for public dealing:

Monday to Thursday — 9am to 2pm (without break)
Friday — 8:30am to 1pm (without break)

"After the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the above timings will automatically revert to pre Ramadan timings," the circular read.
