SBP grants approval to HBL for HBL Zarai Services Limited

December 08, 2023 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has granted approval to Habib Bank Limited (PSX: HBL) for the incorporation of 'HBL Zarai Services Limited', the bank's notice on the PSX showed today.

The company would be a wholly owned subsidiary of the bank.

To note, the bank had decided to incorporate ‘HBL Zarai Services Limited’ to promote the agriculture sector of Pakistan, earlier in July of this year.
