SBP discontinues FE-25 deposits data

September 06, 2024 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has discontinued the monthly reporting of “FE-25 Deposits and their Utilization” data with immediate effect.
The core statistics department of the SBP said in a circular issued on Thursday.
This change follows the adoption of the “Monthly Reporting of Foreign Currency Deposits & Borrowings” statement as outlined in FE Circular No. 01 of 2017.
Banks are no longer required to submit FE-25 data to the core statistics department.
