August 12, 2024 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) witnessed a substantial rise of 511.11% YoY in the sale of four-wheel off-road and passenger vehicles in July 2024, with 825 units sold compared to the topline of 135 vehicles in the same month last year, company’s filing on PSX revealed today.
Concerning production, the company made 886 units of cars in July, compared to 124 units produced during July 2023, reflecting a massive increase of 614.52% YoY.
The monthly metrics comparison indicates a 5.28% MoM decrease in sales compared to 871 units sold in June 2024.
Conversely, production increased by 7.13% in July 2024 as in the previous month SAZEW was able to manufacture 827 units.
In addition to the four-wheelers, the company sold 1,624 auto rickshaws, 113.4% YoY higher than the topline of 761 units recorded in the same period last year.
The production of the three-wheelers clocked in at 1,795 units, up by 83.73% YoY against the 977 units produced in July 2023.
Comparison on a monthly basis shows that the sale of three-wheelers decreased by 10.67% MoM, while production was recorded at 35.68% MoM higher.
