SAZEW secures 3 ISO certificates for 4-wheeler project

January 16, 2024 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) has obtained three ISO certificates for its 4-wheeler project, according to a notice issued by the company to the domestic equity market today.

The certificates are as follows:

3	ISO 45001:2018	Occupational Health and Safety Management System

To recall, the Board of Directors (BoD) of the company approved the acquisition of land worth approximately Rs847 million adjacent to the four-wheeler project.

The land measures nearly 110 canals, and its final value is subject to the actual measurement of land.

An additional positive development for SAZEW was the granting of the first license for electric rickshaw manufacturing.

Despite these encouraging developments, the company's scrip has witnessed a major setback today, currently trading 9.93 rupees lower compared to the previous session's close.
