Saudi Arabia, Pakistan discuss investment opportunities in maritime sector

January 25, 2022: Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said-al-Malki called on Federal Minister Syed Ali Haider Zaidi in Islamabad to discuss investment opportunities in the maritime sector, a press release said.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed wherein the Ambassador spoke about the interest of Saudi Investors in the maritime sector of Pakistan to gain immense mutual benefits.

H.E. Mr. Malki also emphasized establishing economic ties with the Maritime sector of Pakistan. On which, Federal Minister shared his vision of Blue Economy and apprised the Ambassador about all the recent port developments and projects.

Minister highlighted the enormous opportunities in the maritime sector of Pakistan. He reiterated that Pakistan is on the path of economic growth and has massive potential for investment.

He underlined that Pakistan's Blue Economy is opening new corridors for progress and development not only in Pakistan but also offers huge investments opportunities to foreign investors. Minister showed gratitude to the Ambassador for the visit and assured all the support required from his ministry.
