Pakistan OMC sales slip 1% YoY to 1.5m tons in October

November 02, 2026 (MLN): Oil marketing companies’ (OMCs) sales declined 1% year-on-year (YoY) to 1.48 million tons in October 2026 as higher fuel prices weighed on demand, according to Arif Habib.
Excluding furnace oil (FO), sales fell 5.9% YoY. The decline
was led by high-speed diesel (HSD), which dropped 7.3% YoY to 0.66 million
tons, and motor spirit (MS), which slipped 2.3% to 0.64 million tons. FO sales
jumped 243% YoY to 0.09 million tons.
On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, total sales rose 9.7% from
1.35 million tons in September (ex-FO: up 10.3%). HSD sales climbed 26% MoM,
while MS sales eased 2%. Cumulatively, sales during 4MFY27 rose 4% YoY to 5.59
million tons, compared with 5.39 million tons in the same period last year.
Among individual companies, PSO sales rose 8% YoY and 9% MoM
to 0.69 million tons, with 4MFY27 volumes up 15% YoY to 2.60 million tons. WAFI
sales increased 11% YoY and 22% MoM to 0.13 million tons, while APL sales edged
down 1% YoY to 0.12 million tons, up 6% MoM. HASCOL sales fell 6% YoY to 0.04
million tons, up 5% MoM.
