Re-composition: OGDC, SAZEW, EFERT, PSMC, ENGRO, HCAR, INDU, BIPL added to JSMFI

February 09, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has conducted the Re-composition exercise of the JS Momentum Factor Index (JSMFI) as of January 31, 2024.

In accordance with the relevant index rules, eight adjustments have been made to the index.

The incoming companies are Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC), Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW), Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT), Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMC), Engro Corporation Limited (ENGRO), Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HCAR), Indus Motor Company Limited (INDU) and BankIslami Pakistan Limited (BIPL).

The eight to leave are; Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), National Refinery Limited (NRL), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), K-Electric Limited (KEL), Pak Elektron Limited (PAEL), Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL), Fauji Foods Limited (FFL) and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL).

The above changes in the KSE-30 Index are effective from Friday, February 09, 2024.

In addition, the notice also listed the constituents of JSMFI along with their weights in the index as of January 31, 2024.
