Railway set for improvements to become preferred travel choice

May 26, 2025 (MLN): To make the railway a reliable and preferred means of travel in the country, Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi said efforts will continue.

During a surprise visit to Margalla Railway Station in Islamabad, the minister personally inspected train facilities and cleanliness.

He directly engaged with passengers, hearing their complaints and suggestions, according to the press release.

Abbasi also interacted with the station staff, discussing service quality and gathering input on ways to improve operations further.

He reviewed ongoing development projects at Margalla Station and assured passengers of comfortable and quality travel facilities.

Reaffirming his commitment, the minister emphasized the need to modernize railway services and restore passenger confidence in the system.
