PSX upgrades suite of corporate services to strengthen regulatory compliance

September 24, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has enhanced its Suite of Corporate Services services to encourage companies to improve their investor relations, corporate affairs, and compliance with the regulatory framework.

The Suite of Corporate Services is a unique offering by PSX that offers a one-stop solution to listed companies.

The enhanced Suite includes such services as hosting corporate analyst briefings, orientation of PUCARS Interface, training on Regulatory requirements, and facilitate the companies for trainings or workshops which include Directors Training Program (DTP) and workshop conducted by and partnered, respectively, with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).

This Suite of Corporate Services offered by PSX also includes a complimentary Investor Awareness Session for staff and employees of listed companies.

To facilitate governance trainings and workshops, Pakistan Stock Exchange has partnered with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) and have packaged Directors Training Program and Workshops by PICG in the Suite offering.

This offering will help companies save cost in availing these services individually.

The Suite of Corporate Services offers two (2) types of packages.

• The Foundation Package is designed for all listed companies who want to avail PSX specific services.
• The Advanced Package, in addition to the PSX only services, includes third party (PICG) services in trainings and workshops.

The Suite of Corporate Services includes the following services:

• Corporate Analyst Briefing facilitation (2-3 hours). This includes Auditorium seating, multimedia equipment, internet connection, Zoom set-up, and refreshments for attendees (80 - 100 persons). Furthermore, a list of research analysts will be provided to the companies.
• PUCARS orientation - In house orientation of PUCARS interface for the appointed representative of the company as, at times, companies find it challenging to cope with uploading timely information on PUCARS.
• Training on Regulatory Requirements – An essential regulatory training program offered by the Regulatory Affairs Division of PSX to help listed companies to address their regulatory requirements and to clarify their understanding of regulatory matters.
• Directors Training Program (DTP) by PICG – The DTP conducted by PICG, coordinated by PSX, facilitates certification and training of your company’s directors.
• Workshop by PICG – PSX has partnered with PICG to provide value added services such as trainings, awareness sessions and workshops, among others, to benefit various aspects of your business.
• Complimentary Investor Awareness Session for staff of listed companies.
