PSX trades at Low Volume, Trades at 29,811 with an hour remaining into Closing Bell

With one and a half hour trading time remaining, PSX All Share Volume is at 48.21 million less than average daily volume trading activity at the PSX.

The average volume at PSX for the last week was 174.65 million shares a day.

The total number of trades stands at 29,811 for the day. The daily average trades for the last week have been 67,500.

Today's number however has been significantly lower because of the prevalent uncertainty in the political atmosphere of the country.

The investor participation has been low today despite it being the first day of the week. The investors are spooked as to the future of the PML (N) government at the centre.
