PSX to hold auction for GOP Ijarah Sukuk on February 4

January 30, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will conduct an auction for the sale of Government of Pakistan (GOP) Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) on February 4, 2025, as part of the monthly Auction Target Calendar. The settlement is scheduled for February 6, 2025.
A total of Rs100 billion worth of GIS will be offered across different tenors and rate structures, as detailed below:
- Fixed Rate Discounted Sukuk: Rs20bn (1-year)
- Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk: Rs30bn (3, 5, and 10-year, Rs10bn each)
- Variable Rental Rate Sukuk: Rs50bn (3, 5, and 10-year, Rs10bn, 10bn, and 30bn, respectively)
Since February 5, 2025, is a public holiday (Kashmir Day), the auction timeline has been adjusted accordingly.
