PSX reveals auction schedule for GoP Ijarah Sukuk

February 27, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will conduct multiple auctions for the sale of Government of Pakistan (GoP) Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) between March 6, 2025, and May 7, 2025, in accordance with the Auction Target Calendar.

The settlements are scheduled for the following days after each auction.

A total of Rs390 billion will be raised through Short-Term Sukuk, Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk, and Variable Rental Rate Sukuk.

Under Short-Term Sukuk, Rs120bn will be auctioned: Rs30bn on March 6 (settlement: March 7), Rs60bn on April 9 (settlement: April 10), and Rs30bn on May 7 (settlement: May 8), all for a one-year tenor.

The Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk, totaling Rs135bn, will be issued across 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year tenors: Rs30bn on March 6 (Rs10bn per tenor), Rs45bn on April 9 (Rs15bn per tenor), and Rs60bn on May 7 (Rs20bn per tenor).

Similarly, the Variable Rental Rate Sukuk, also amounting to Rs135bn, follows the same structure with Rs30bn on March 6, Rs45bn on April 9, and Rs60bn on May 7, distributed equally across the three tenors.

The settlement dates for each auction will follow on the next business day.

PSX will issue further auction notices and details before each auction.
