PSX re-composes KSE-30 Index: six companies make the switch

August 01, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has re-composed the KSE-30 Index, which tracks the performance of the top 30 most liquid companies listed on PSX based on Free Float methodology, a notice issued by the PSX on Tuesday showed.

PSX carried out the exercise of re-composition of the KSE-30 Index for the review period from January 01, 2023, to June 30, 2023.

Six companies have been added to the KSE-30 Index, while six companies have been dropped. The new entrants are Attock Petroleum Limited (APL), Bank Alfalah Limited (BAFL), Cherat Cement Company Limited (CHCC), Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL), Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCF), and Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC).

The outgoing companies are NetSol Technologies Limited (NETSOL), National Refinery Limited (NRL), Pak Elektron Limited (PAEL), Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), TPL Properties Limited (TPLP), and Unity Foods Limited (UNITY).

The re-composed index will be implemented from Friday, September 15, 2023.
