March 24, 2025 (MLN): After witnessing remarkable gains last week, the benchmark KSE-100 Index started the week on a negative note as investors succumbed to selling pressure, concluding Monday's trading session at 116,439.62, down by 2,002.55 points or 1.69%.

Celebration in anticipation of a reduction in Power Tariff announced by the PM last week converted into sorrow as IMF categorically rejected it, Ali Najib, Head of Sales at Insight Securities told Mettis Global.
