Project of M/s Roshan Sun Tao Paper Mills forwarded to BOI for avowal as SEZ

December 12, 2018 (MLN): The Special Economic Zones Authority Punjab has forwarded the project of Roshan Packages Limited’s subsidiary, M/s Roshan Sun Tao Paper Mills (Private) Limited, to the Board of Investment (BOI) for consideration and final declaration as Special Economic Zone.

As per an official notification issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on the matter, if declared by BOI, the project will benefit from the fiscal incentives under special economic zone act 2012, including one time exemption from custom duties and taxes on import of plant and machinery, along with exemption of taxes on income for a period of 10 years.
