PMEX Commodity Index trades 56 points higher

July 23, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index gained 56 points only to finish at 4,688-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 15.427 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,993.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.755 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 2.234 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.381 billion), Platinum (PKR 747.743 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 648.278 million), Crude Oil (PKR 229.765 million), DJ (PKR 228.406 million), Copper (PKR 97.493 million), Natural Gas (PKR 67.187 million) and SP500 (PKR 36.506 million).

In agriculture commodities, one lot of Corn amounting to PKR 2.792 million and 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.575 million were traded.
