PMEX commodity index settles at 3994 points

March 03, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index on Monday closed at 3,994. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.774 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,898.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.148 billion, followed by NSDQ100 (PKR 1.068 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 873.941 million), DJ (PKR 578.589 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 447.780 million), Silver (PKR 320.935 million), SP500 (PKR 112.034 million), Brent Crude Oil (PKR 86.316 million), Platinum (PKR 71.041 million), Copper (PKR 39.243 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 27.319 million).

In agriculture commodities, 15 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.334 million were traded.
