PMEX Commodity Index inches up by 7 points only

July 20, 2020: On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index edged higher by 7 points only to finish at 4,484-level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.428 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,206.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.197 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 955.255 million), Silver (PKR 750.346 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 428.663 million), Crude Oil (PKR 321.259 million), DJ (PKR 302.698 million), Platinum (PKR 260.642 million), Natural Gas (PKR 149.012 million), SP500 (PKR 47.813 million) and Copper (PKR 15.539 million).

In agriculture commodities, 5 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 22.449 million and 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.039 million were traded.
