PMEX Commodity Index ends at 4,632 points

July 22, 2020: On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,632 points. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 17.564 billion and the number of lots traded was 20,519.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 10.155 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.440 billion), Silver (PKR 2.023 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.797 billion), Platinum (PKR 464.685 million), Crude Oil (PKR 292.372 million), DJ (PKR 220.636 million), Copper (PKR 73.906 million), SP500 (PKR 50.366 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 45.549 million).

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 13.110 million were traded.
