PMEX Commodity Index ends at 3,866 points

May 18, 2020: On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,866. The traded value of Metals, Energy, and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.385 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,965.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.425 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 622.149 million), Crude Oil (PKR 531.220 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 468.661 million), Platinum (PKR 377.667 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 374.995 million), DJ (PKR 303.982 million), SP500 (PKR 191.091 million), Natural Gas (PKR 85.266 million) and Copper (PKR 4.514 million).

In agriculture commodities, 4 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 16.098 million and 22 lots of Corn amounting to PKR 10.201 million were traded.
