PMEX Commodity Index ends 27 points lower

April 21, 2020: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index lost another 29 points to settle at 3,624. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.980 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,614.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.264 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 1.276 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 395.799 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 349.755 million), Silver (PKR 288.663 million), Natural Gas (PKR 187.715 million), SP500 (PKR 80.332 million), Platinum (PKR 73.526 million), DJ (PKR 62.367 million) and Copper (PKR 1.513 million).

In agriculture commodities, 7 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 31.480 million were traded.
