PMEX Commodity Index closes at 3,426-level

April 23, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,426. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.289 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,123.
The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.339 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 728.686 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 329.743 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 306.167 million), Silver (PKR 191.829 million), DJ (PKR 134.510 million), SP500 (PKR 88.648 million), Natural Gas (PKR 85.631 million), Platinum (PKR 79.501 million) and Copper (PKR 5.033 million).
In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.296 million were traded.
