PM Shehbaz Sharif orders FBR to clear sales tax claims within 30 days

March 07, 2024 (MLN): On the directions of the newly elected Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed Field Formations to process all Sales Tax Refund claims within 30 days.
He was presiding over a high-level meeting regarding the privatization of PIA and the restructuring of the Federal Board of Revenue in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Furthermore, all concerned Chief Commissioners have been directed to ensure compliance with these instructions.
