PM Shehbaz Sharif-led cabinet set to take oath

April 19, 2022 (MLN): After a week-long delay, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the names of the new Cabinet on Monday.
According to the notification issued by Prime Minister’s office, Mr Miftah Ismail, Mr Qamar Zaman Kaira, and Engineer Amir Muqan have been appointed as Advisers to the Prime Minister.
Another circular issued by the Prime Minister’s office revealed the names of 30 federal ministers who will take oath in the federal cabinet headed by PM Shehbaz Sharif.
Moreover, the circular appointed Dr Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Hina Rabbani Khar, Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar as the minister of state.
“The Cabinet division shall initiate a formal summary in terms of Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973,” the circular said.
