PIA-owned Roosevelt Hotel announces permanent closure from October 31

October 9, 2020 (MLN): The Roosevelt Hotel, owned by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in New York, has announced a permanent closure by the end of this month.

The hotel administration in the statement issued mentioned economic and financial reasons behind its permanent closure.

“Due to the current economic impacts, after almost 100 years of welcoming guests to the New York, The Roosevelt Hotel is regretfully closing its doors permanently as of October 31, 2020,” said a statement released by the hotel’s management.
