PCAL's CCV line commences commercial production

September 13, 2023 (MLN): The management of Pakistan Cables Limited (PSX: PCAL) has announced the successful completion of the installation and commissioning of its Catenary Continuous Vulcanization (CCV) line, marking the commencement of commercial production.

The CVV line’s main purpose is to manufacture medium-voltage cables using German engineering and technology.

"As per our knowledge, the company’s CCV line has the highest voltage rating capability (69 KV) for cables in Pakistan," the notice further reads.

The company is engaged in the manufacturing of copper rods, wires, cables and conductors, aluminum extrusion profiles, and PVC compounds.

At the time of writing, PCAL’s share is being traded at Rs88.90, up by Rs3.40 or 3.98% as compared to the previous close.
