PBS releases outstanding census payments, AGPR sets conditions for more

June 10, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) confirmed on Saturday that the remaining 44% of outstanding payments for the 7th Population and Housing Census have been released.

However, the Accountant General Pakistan Revenue (AGPR), Islamabad has requested Vouched Accounts from the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for already paid 56% of payments as a condition to release further funds.

The AGPR, Islamabad has issued cheques to the 47 Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for the remaining 44 % of payments, who have provided vouched accounts for past payments.

DCs who have not yet shared the details of Vouched Accounts are urged to do so, promptly to facilitate the transfer of funds to their accounts for the remaining 44% of payments to be paid to the enumerators and supervisors.

The esteemed enumerators and supervisors deputed for the field operations of the 7th Population and Housing Census in the following, 47 districts are requested to collect their payments from their relevant DC office, as the amount has been transferred in the accounts of respective DCs.
