Pakistan's Yearly inflation at 7.97 Percent in December

January 01, 2021 (MLN): Pakistan's Yearly Inflation Rate (New Base 2015-16) in December 2020 was 7.97 percent compared to 8.35 percent in November 2020 and 12.60 percent in December 2019.

The July-December average inflation is 8.63 percent compared to 11.10 percent from the corresponding period last year.

Market Expectation of Inflation for December was between 8.10 % and 7.92% with the average estimate of 8.02%.

On a monthly basis, CPI decreased by 0.68 percent in December compared to an increase of 0.82 percent in November.

Market expectation of Monthly change was between 0.72% and -0.73% with the average estimate at -0.02%.
