February 29, 2024 (MLN): Inspired by the ‘Magnificent Seven’, a popular term for seven US tech stocks that have dominated the S&P 500 in recent years, Research House Chase Securities has introduced Pakistan’s very own ‘Magnificent Seven’.

Pakistan’s Magnificent Seven introduces a compelling group of companies that have defied volatility and emerged as leaders in their respective sectors.

The index, dubbed ‘SHIMPLE’, includes SYS, HUBC, ILP, MEBL, POL, LUCK, and EFERT.

In a dynamic and often challenging economic landscape, identifying companies that consistently deliver outstanding performance becomes crucial for savvy investors, said the Brokerage House Chase Securities.

Over the past five years, these companies have demonstrated exceptional revenue growth, reflecting market leadership and demand.

These companies have consistently increased their bottom lines, showcasing strong financial management.

Moreover, they have witnessed impressive market capital appreciation despite economic fluctuations.

The so-called SHIMPLE has rewarded investors with consistent and attractive dividend distributions or buybacks, the report noted.

Investing in the Pakistan Magnificent Seven Companies presents a compelling opportunity to gain exposure to the Pakistani economy, said the research house.

Despite the volatile economic landscape, these companies are currently trading at attractive valuations and forward Price to Earnings ratios, typically ranging between 3x and 5x (ex-Systems).

To note, the Magnificent Seven is an index of seven US stocks; Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla, which have far outperformed the rest of the S&P 500.

The Magnificent Seven surged more than 2x last year as against S&P 500’s 24% gain.
