Pakistan’s IT industry counts as world’s largest entity: MoITT

April 19, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan’s IT industry counts as the world’s largest entity, the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MoITT) said in its statement issued on Tuesday.
“Digital growth in Pakistan is going through a swift evolution. IT/ITeS sector is one of the fastest-growing sectors of Pakistan,” it added.
The ministry is fully committed to facilitating foreign and domestic investors in the IT/ITeS sector in the country.
To note, the ministry of IT & Telecom has recently invested about Rs57 billion to enhance connectivity and improve digital infrastructure to facilitate the common man in the country.
