Pakistan’s Forex Reserves Decrease by USD 45.20 Million

Jun 25, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves decreased by USD 45.20 Million or 0.27% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 16,730.10 Million on Jun 19, 2020.

According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves decreased by USD 145.90 Million. This decline is attributed to government external debt payments of US$ 244.5 million.

Amount in USD Million

During the current week, SBP has received around US$1,725 million, including US$725 million from the World Bank, US$500 million from Asian Development Bank and US$500 million from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. These funds will be part of SBP weekly reserves data as of  June 26, 2020 to be released on July 02, 2020.
