Pakistan’s Forex Reserves Decrease by USD 161.60 Million

Mar 19, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan’s Forex Reserves decreased by USD 161.60 Million or 0.85% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 18,743.00 Million on Mar 13, 2020.

According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves decreased by USD 110.30 Million. The SBP attributed this decline to repayments related to external Government debt, Hajj and other official payments during the week.

Similarly, reserves held by commercial banks also declined by USD 51.30 million during the week.
