Pakistan’s exports surge by 17% YoY in March

April 01, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan’s exports during March 2022 grew by 17.3% to $2.773 billion as compared to $2.365 billion in March 2021, Adviser to Prime Minister of Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood shared on Twitter today.
Cumulatively, during July- March 2022, the exports surged by 25% to $23.332 billion as compared to $18.688 billion in July-March 2021. This is an increase of $4.644 billion.
“Our exports are in line with our targets & we expect to achieve our yearly target,” he said.
The import figures would be shared when finalized by the PBS, he added.
The Advisor lauded exporters for maintaining the momentum of exports under these testing times in the global market.
