Pakistan, Uzbekistan discuss PTA, Transit Trade and Custom Cooperation

February 4, 2021 (MLN): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Investment and Trade, Abdul Razzak Dawood on Thursday held bilateral meetings in Tashkent with the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan on trade, Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA), Transit Trade and Custom Cooperation.

The Trans-Afghan Railways project was discussed in a well-attended Conference organized by the Republic of Uzbekistan, where several international donor agencies were present. The Trilateral talks were also held between Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan and a way forward has been agreed upon, the Adviser said via Twitter today.
