Pakistan, Qatar pledge stronger ties in bilateral talks

February 11, 2025 (MLN): The second round of Pakistan-Qatar Bilateral Political Consultations, where both sides reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations including political, economic, consular, and people-to-people ties to further enhance cooperation, was held in Doha.

Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch led the Pakistani delegation, while the Qatari side was headed by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues, reaffirming their commitment to continued collaboration and consultation, as pre the press release.

Acknowledging the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and the increasing momentum of high-level visits and exchanges, they agreed to further strengthen ties in all areas of mutual interest.

The next round of Pakistan-Qatar Bilateral Political Consultations will be held in Islamabad on mutually agreed dates.
