Pakistan, European Union discuss collaboration in key sectors

March 16, 2024 (MLN): The newly elected Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb shared possible areas of mutual collaboration including digitization, export competitiveness, livestock and dairy production with the Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan, Dr. Riina Kionka during a productive meeting on Friday.

The finance minister appreciated the longstanding bilateral relations and development cooperation between the EU and Pakistan, seeking to further strengthen these ties.

He thanked the Ambassador for the EU’s ongoing support in flood-affected areas of Pakistan.

Dr. Riina Kionka congratulated the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue on his recent appointment to office and looked forward to collaborating with the new Government.
