Pakistan desirous of sending more manpower to Qatar: FM

June 19, 2019: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan wants to send more Pakistani manpower to Qatar, attracting investment into the country and increase exports to the oil-rich country.

Talking to a private news channel, he said talks will be held on all these issue during the forthcoming visit of Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to Pakistan.

He said we also want to get financial support from Qatar to tackle balance of payment crisis to help stabilize Pakistan’s economy

To a question about tension between Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, he said Pakistan had excellent relations with all member countries of Council of Gulf Cooperation Council and the Muslim Ummah.

He said if there is misunderstanding between two brothers, Pakistan will like to play a positive role in that regard.
