Overseas Pakistani remit USD 9,298.58 Million during July-November FY20

Dec 10, 2019 (MLN): Overseas Pakistanis remitted USD 1.82 billion in the month of November 2019 compared to USD 2 billion in October 2019 showing a decrease of USD 181.14 million over the previous month.

However, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan the remittances increased by USD 155.65 million when compared to November 2018.

The total amount remitted during July-November FY20 was USD 9.2986 billion compared to USD 9.2820 billion from the corresponding period of FY19 which showed an increase of USD 16.59 million or 0.18 percent.

Saudi Arabia was the largest source of remittances having contributed USD 407.48 million followed by UAE with USD 383.77 million and USA providing USD 298.64 million.
