Opening Bell: KSE-100 index down by 915 pts

March 25, 2020 (MLN): The KSE-100 index has lost 915 points in the early hours of the session and is currently trading at 27,644 points.
Similarly, the KSE-30 index is down by 4.14 percent and is trading at 12,033-level as of now.
This is contrary to the expectations put forth by market analysts, who were expecting the market to respond positively to govt and State Bank’s initiatives to stimulate the economy.
So far, Commercial Banks, Fertilizer and Cement Sector have collectively lost nearly 688 points.
